What you'll need
Before you start, make sure you have:
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick (any model — Lite, standard, 4K, or 4K Max)
- A working broadband connection (10 Mbps minimum for HD)
- Your ProTV UK login credentials (sent via WhatsApp after purchase)
- The Downloader app — available free on the Amazon App Store
Step-by-step setup guide
Enable apps from unknown sources
On your Firestick home screen, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Toggle on Apps from Unknown Sources. This allows you to install apps that aren't in the Amazon App Store.
Install the Downloader app
Go back to the home screen, search for Downloader, and install it. It's a free app published by AFTVnews and it's the standard tool for loading apps onto Firestick.
Download an IPTV player
Open Downloader and enter the download URL for your preferred IPTV player. We recommend TiviMate for its clean EPG and reliability. IPTV Smarters Pro is a good alternative if you prefer a different layout. The download URL will be provided by our support team alongside your credentials.
Install the player APK
Once downloaded, select Install on the prompt. After it completes, select Done (not Open — go back to your home screen first). You'll find the player in your app list.
Enter your ProTV UK credentials
Open TiviMate or IPTV Smarters. When prompted, choose Add playlist or Xtream Codes API. Enter the server URL, username, and password that were sent to you via WhatsApp when you purchased your plan. The player will load your channels automatically.
Wait for your EPG to load
All 35,000+ channels will appear immediately. The EPG (electronic programme guide) takes 3–5 minutes to fully populate on first load. After that it updates automatically in the background.

Tips for the best experience
- Use a wired ethernet adapter for your Firestick during live sport — it eliminates buffering caused by Wi-Fi interference
- If you're on Wi-Fi, connect to your 5GHz band rather than 2.4GHz for faster, more stable streaming
- Restart your Firestick once a week to keep performance sharp — they can slow down with memory accumulation
- If a channel buffers, press back, wait 10 seconds, and re-open — it usually resolves without any further action
- Enable hardware acceleration in TiviMate's video settings for smoother 4K playback
